Pregnancy Pain

The clinician-monitored pelvic health app that provides immediate evidence-based information and support to patients.

The challenge

Pregnancy-related back pain and pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain are common conditions in pregnant women, but there is a gap in the care pathway at present; if a patient’s symptoms are not deemed sufficiently severe to send them directly for physiotherapy treatment, they are left without any input until further intervention is required.

Our solution

Living With Pregnancy Pain (LWPP) enables clinicians to distribute a free app, providing immediate evidence-based advice for patients. Clinicians can monitor their patients’ symptoms remotely at any time whilst patients are able to understand their symptoms better, get information on corrective exercises, report issues and take clinically validated assessments..

Benefits

  • Provide immediate advice and support to patients on your waiting list
  • Improve patient understanding of their condition
  • Improve patient ability to self-manage
  • Reduce the need for face to face appointments
  • Increase monitoring of ongoing patient symptoms to help with treatment planning
